Retail displays

A suitcase. Full of character.

Don Papa

We produced suitcase-inspired displays for Don Papa, with printed straps, corner details and layered construction giving the cases their distinctive character. The idea draws on the visual language of a familiar object, then adapts it into a branded physical display. Prototype and production views reveal how that character takes shape through components and assembly. The finished pieces demonstrate how graphic detail and structure can work together to make a display feel like more than a printed panel.

The thinking behind the work

Build the story into the object.

For brands seeking a distinctive presentation, Data Image combines printed surfaces and dimensional construction to give an idea physical form. This project offers inspiration for displays that borrow recognisable shapes and details from another world. The connection between prototype and finished piece is especially useful when considering how character can be retained through production.
