Our Team

Rob - director

Heading up the team at Data Image is our founder, Rob. We call him ‘No Prob Rob’ as nothing is too big a problem for him! Since starting the company back in 1991, Rob has seen the company grow to a team of 60+ employees and when he’s not out visiting clients, he can be found throughout the business driving the heartbeat of the company every day. Rob is an expert within the industry and with a real passion for print and technology, he is always looking for the next way to bring innovation to print.

Alison - head of accounts

Having worked in Accounts for all of her working life, our Head of Accounts, Alison, moved across to the print industry just over 8 years ago when she joined Data Image back in 2010. Alison loves number-crunching and has always enjoyed working with figures, making her our go-to person for everything numbers! As an avid football fan, Alison is also a season ticket holder for Tottenham Hotspur where she regularly goes to watch matches and cheer on her side but when she’s not out enjoying football, she’s either spending time with her grandchildren or rocking out at a gig.

Chris - head of artwork & technical development

Chris has been a part of the company for almost 5 years and during that time he has worked as Head of IT and Head of Pre-Press Production, both leading to his current role as our Head of Artwork and Technical Development here at Data Image. Our very own Apple Genius, Chris’s skills on a Mac are second-to-none and alongside everything tech, he is also our resident colour specialist. When he’s not at work you’ll often find Chris at the gym where he follows a disciplined routine to stay fit, healthy and strong ready to tackle every challenge ahead.

Steve - production manager

Entering the print industry at the age of 17 as an apprentice, our Production Manager Steve had been working in lithographic print for 10 years before moving across to digital and joining Data Image back in 2008, the company he now considers his “saviour”. A Leicester boy born-and-bred, Steve is one of our many LCFC supporters here at Data Image and even had trials at Leicester Academy when he was younger! After playing for several non-league clubs throughout his life, he now spends his weekends playing for a local side in a Veterans League.

Iwona - finishing manager

Iwona, has been working at Data Image for over 5 years after being offered a position within the company 3 weeks into her temporary position. Making her way from temporary staff to finishing operative, Iwona is now our Finishing Manager, managing a team of 9 employees across finishing and logistics and as a fan of inspirational quotes, she is always making sure that her team are motivated at all times. Sitting down with a book is her favourite thing to do and we think that Iwona’s time at Data Image is the best story so far!

Garry - research & development manager

Working alongside the World’s first Robot-fed cutting bed is our Research and Development Manager, Garry. With 14 years’ experience as a Development Designer and 11 years’ as a 3D Structural Designer, using new technologies and implementing lean manufacturing processes, Garry joined Data Image back in 2014 and is now our 3D printing, problem solving guru. Between working with robots and designing innovations, Garry is also a part-time photographer and DJ in his spare time and with an extensive skillset both in and out of work, this is what makes him the dedicated designer he is today.

Jennie - business development manager

From school to sales, our Business Development Manager, Jennie, has worked in sales for all of her working life. With 20+ years’ experience in sales within the print industry, Jennie brought over a wealth of knowledge and expertise with her when she joined Data Image back in 2013. Whilst our account managers work closely with our existing clients, Jennie focuses on new clients and prospects to offer our capabilities to leading brands worldwide. In her spare time Jennie is a member of a local golf club, playing competitively over the weekends, during which time she is also cheering on her football club, Leicester City FC!
