A small product. A bigger presence.
Oversized product replicas
We produce oversized product replicas, giant product replicas and enlarged prop models, also known as factice. Familiar product shapes become physical features at a different scale, with printed surfaces, curved construction and product-holding details contributing to the presentation. The examples show several approaches to translating a recognisable design into a larger object. Scale creates the initial impression, while the relationship between the printed detail and the structure helps retain the product’s identity.

The thinking behind the work
Give the product a bigger role.
Data Image combines print and dimensional production to develop branded forms beyond their original proportions. For inspiration, explore how the silhouette, surface and physical setting work together in these examples, then see the Don Papa project for another approach to characterful dimensional presentation. The material and construction should always be matched to the intended use and environment.
