What we can help with.

01

Branded walls and interior surfaces

Wall graphics and surface treatments that bring an identity into the building.

02

Directional and identification graphics

Signs and graphics that help people find their way and know where they are.

03

Interpretation and visitor information

Panels and information graphics that explain a space, an object or a story.

Start with the brief.

We consider how people move through the space, where information is needed and how the graphics relate to the architecture.

Useful details to share

Application, dimensions, location, timing and any existing artwork. An early idea is enough to start.

Surfaces

Painted plaster, glass, timber and concrete need different materials and fixings. A survey, or photographs, tells us what we’re working with.

How people move

Wayfinding works when it’s placed where decisions are made. Plans and visitor routes help us understand the journey.

Readability

Size, contrast and height affect how easily information can be read. We’d work to your designer’s specification.

Change over time

Names, tenants and routes change. Plan panels and fixings so one element can be replaced without redoing the rest.

Questions we’re asked.

Do you design wayfinding schemes?

We produce from supplied designs and can work alongside your designer or architect on materials and practical details. Tell us what you have, and we’ll talk through how we can help.

Can you install while the building is in use?

Tell us how the building is used and when access is possible. We’ll talk through an installation plan that suits the people using the space.

Can individual signs be replaced later?

Yes, and it’s worth planning for. If we know which elements are likely to change, we can suggest panel sizes and fixings that make replacement simpler.

Can you match existing colours and finishes?

We can sample against the colours and finishes already in the space, ideally checked in the building’s own lighting.
