Information
Website terms
Clear information about using this website and how to contact us.
These terms set out the rules for using the Data Image website: what our content and concept images do and don’t show, what happens when you send an enquiry or attach files, and the limits of our responsibility. They apply to the website only. Any work we carry out for you is covered by its written proposal and our terms and conditions of sale.
About us
This website is run by Data Image Group Limited (‘Data Image’, ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’). We produce print, displays and brand environments, and we’re based in Narborough, Leicester.
We’re a company registered in England and Wales under company number 03600647. Our registered office and trading address is 3 Darby Way, Narborough, Leicester, Leicestershire, LE19 2GP, and our VAT number is GB360291475. You’ll find all our contact details at the end of these terms.
Using this website
These terms apply whenever you use this website. By using it, you accept them. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the site.
The website is free to use. We may update or change it at any time, and we may suspend, restrict or withdraw all or part of it, for example for maintenance, security or business reasons. We can’t promise that the site, or any part of it, will always be available or uninterrupted.
We may revise these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies each time you use the site, so please check it occasionally. These terms were last updated on 1 October 2026.
Information on this website
The content on this website is general information about Data Image and our work. It isn’t professional or technical advice, so please talk to us about your own project before relying on it.
We try to keep the information accurate and up to date, but we can’t promise that everything on the site is complete or current at all times.
Specifications, materials, finishes and capabilities described on the website are indicative. What’s right for a particular project depends on its design, location, use, timescale and budget, and options such as recycled or recyclable materials are used where they’re technically suitable. Each project is defined by its written proposal.
Concept images
Many of the pictures on this website are AI-generated concepts, made with generative image tools to show the kinds of things we could make, from shop windows and exhibition stands to building wraps and venue graphics. Each one is labelled as a concept image, and none of them shows a completed Data Image project, a client’s premises or our people. Photographs of real work appear where the page says so, for example in our articles.
These images don’t show completed Data Image projects, client sites, our premises or our people. They’re ideas to start a conversation, not evidence of work we’ve carried out.
A concept image shows the kind of result that might be possible, not the specification of any particular project. The design, materials, structure and finish of your project would be developed for your brief and agreed in its written proposal.
The pages under ‘Ideas & inspiration’ describe concepts in the same way. Any mention of how we would approach a concept describes what we’d consider, not something that has been built or tested.
Enquiries and quotations
Sending us an enquiry, whether through this website, by email or by phone, doesn’t create a contract between us or commit either of us to going ahead.
A quotation sets out what we propose to supply and the price. Every quotation is subject to our terms and conditions of sale, which we supply with it. Those terms explain how a contract between us is formed.
If anything on this website differs from your proposal, quotation or contract, those documents take priority.
Intellectual property
We own, or have permission to use, the intellectual property in this website and its content, including the text, concept images, graphics, design and code. It’s protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws in the UK and elsewhere, and all rights are reserved.
The Data Image name and logo belong to us. Any third-party names, logos and trade marks shown on the website belong to their owners.
You may view the website, print or download extracts for your own reference, and share links to its pages, whether for personal use or within your organisation. You must not:
- Copy, republish, sell or distribute content from the website, except as allowed above.
- Scrape or systematically extract content or data from the website, including to train artificial intelligence systems. Normal indexing by search engines is fine.
- Remove or change any copyright or other notice on the content.
- Use our name, logo or content in a way that suggests we endorse you, your organisation or your products.
If you’d like to use our content in any other way, please ask us for permission first.
Attaching files
Our enquiry form lets you attach a brief and other files, such as artwork, drawings and photographs. Attaching files is optional.
By attaching a file, you confirm that you own it or have permission to share it with us, and that sharing it doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights, including the privacy of anyone shown in a photograph.
You keep ownership of your files and the rights in them. You give us permission to use, copy and adapt them only as needed to respond to your enquiry and, if the project goes ahead, to deliver it, for example by preparing artwork for print. We won’t use them for anything else without your permission.
You must not attach anything that is unlawful, defamatory or offensive, or that infringes anyone’s rights, or any file containing viruses or other malicious code. We may delete any attachment that we reasonably believe breaks these rules.
Links to other websites
Where this website links to other websites, such as social media or the sites of organisations we work with, the links are for your information only. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, their availability or how they handle your information. A link doesn’t mean we endorse the site or its owner.
You’re welcome to link to our website, as long as you do so fairly and lawfully and don’t suggest a partnership with us, or an endorsement from us, that doesn’t exist.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law doesn’t allow us to exclude or limit.
Subject to that, the website is provided free of charge and ‘as is’. As far as the law allows, we exclude all conditions, warranties and other terms that might otherwise apply to it, whether express or implied.
As far as the law allows, we won’t be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website, or from relying on anything on it. In particular, we won’t be liable for loss of profits, sales, business, revenue, data, goodwill or anticipated savings, for business interruption, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
Our liability for the products and services we supply is set out in our terms and conditions of sale. If you’re a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Viruses
We take reasonable care to keep this website secure, but we can’t promise that it will be free from bugs, viruses or other harmful code. You’re responsible for protecting your own devices, software and data, including with up-to-date virus protection.
You must not misuse the website by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms or other malicious or harmful material, by trying to gain unauthorised access to the website, the servers it runs on or any connected system, or by attacking it, for example with a denial-of-service attack.
Doing any of these things may be a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We may report it to the relevant authorities and co-operate with them, including by disclosing your identity to them, and your right to use the website will end immediately.
Privacy
We use any personal information you give us through this website as described in our privacy notice. It explains what we collect and why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and your rights. Our cookie policy lists the cookies we use and explains how to change your choice.
Governing law
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising from them or from your use of this website (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by the law of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you’re a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
